That's my issue as well. I believe he hasn't played a game since he was injured in April.

Can he play for U23's to get his fitness up?

He just hasn’t played in forever because of how the Ukranian league runs.

I’d say he’s about mid to late September before hitting his stride but I spose that could be all the incomings takes time to gel

Lad had a winter break and a sore shoulder. Not like he broke his leg last October or something.

Be fine. Biggest worry, new signing wise, aside from gelling with the squad is how long it will take Gomes to be fit really. Not how long Bernard will take.
