Confirmed Signing Bernard

This. Bernard and Sigurdsson centrally with Gueye in DM, Richarlison and Walcott on the wings and Tosun up front, all sounds very exciting.

Not a bad bench/reserve too in the midfield/attack positions with Andre Gomes, Davies, Dowell, Niasse, Calvert-Lewin, Lookman and of course, Schneidy.

This is what I want to see - just like City set up. Gueye in the Fernandinho role, Bernard in the Silva role and Sigurdsson in the KDB role. Walcott = Sterling, Richarlison = Sane.

The above highlights how much better City are I suppose but it’s not really them we’re competing with at the moment. They finished so far ahead of everyone though that if we can get ourselves performing anything like they do it’ll be incredible.

The problem is the giant gap in class between Gylfi and KdB and Bernard and Silva will make that system unplayable for us more or less. City get away with not being great defensively in midfield by never really giving the ball away. No shot we could pull that off

Along with la magica, he just seems to have a joy of playing football. Hopefully Everton don't take that away from him.

I'm really hopeful for this guy, and hopeful the Goodison faithful understand the project this group has undertaken to right the ship (aka minimal to no booing the first month or so)
Dont’t let the Goodison crowd see that as a challenge mate! They destroy players almost casually, if they think they are being dared to do it, God help the poor lad! :)
