Tim Vickery on Talksport before basically slating Bernard for his attitude at Shakhtar and “hopes” Yerry Mina succeeds at Everton because he’s not the greatest.....

Actually had good things to say about Mina... conceded he was raw and looked a little clumsy at times but thought he was well-suited to Prem and a good signing. Seemed less convinced about Bernard, his attitude and that he might be a bit lightweight for English football. Didn't question his talent. Remember him saying similar things about Coutinho when Liverpool first signed him!!!

Attitude problem might be an issue, but maybe the shaktar coach was a w****r......as for lightweight, so was Juninho and did alright.... Pretty sure Modric was labelled a lightweight too....

Vickery is never shy to admit when he gets one wrong - he even acknowledged that Funes Mori was better than expected, though Vickery was still ultimately more right than wrong in that case.

Always seemed a bit ridiculous to be accusing journos of deep state anti-Everton conspiracy for being insufficiently Fox News in hyping up our prospective signings, given the way some of us talk about our actual longstanding contributors like Jags or Baines around here....

As for Bernard's attitude at Shaktar, I suspect the ongoing civil war/covert insurrection/forcible exile of the entire team may have ruffled feathers in the dressing room
