Just head for the Old Town end of the beach and you can't go wrong.

There's an alley that's just full of authentic tapas bars, selling all kinds of tapas and you can be buy quality wine by the glass there too.

Considering the British have turned a lot of the place into " Little England " the locals are sound too.

Went for the first time myself a fortnight ago on a stag do. Have to say, if you cannot have a good time there then you have problems.

Great atmosphere, just a top time from start to finish.

I actually used to live down the coast in Torrevieja in the early 2000's but for some reason never made it to Benidorm.

My plan was to do a bit of the old town too and some fine tapas etc....never even got there, was too busy having a jolly old time. Suffered for a full week later though
