33 games in 30 months? Plus he's 32. I'd rather see Barkley or Green take the spot on the bench because at least if they play shÃ®t they still have the potential to be good in the future and are paid fairly low.

This one I could see happening actually. It will be a loan and he can play in 3 different positions and works quite hard, a Moyes type player who could do a job for 6 months, a better option then Gueye or Naismith on the right or left if we have injuries, which we will.

Different style of play suits different players. Not saying we should go for him but his style would blend nicely with players like osman, pienaar and baines. As others have said though, maybe a couple of years ago.
