hopefully the mirror is right and we are in advanced talks with both players..as for lescott and please dont shoot me down but id have him back move jh on... i'll be shot down by saying that maybe just maybe their is a bit more cash in the pot than we realise !! heres hoping

'Transfer rumours' and been playing loads of Football Manager recently seem to go hand in hand on here.

So according to the Mirror we're selling one player for £7m and then getting a loan signing who is on £90k a week plus two strikers, one of whom will cost £5m which means the other would need to cost just £2m.

hsant lescott started the last few games??

I was thinking that. Can't see us getting him and even if we did I'd begrudge his wages now. Pienaar is only on 5k above what we offered him before he left so I can understand the logic, especially with his link up play with Baines, even though it's dropped off the last few games, but 90k ish for a centre back could be more wisely spent elsewhere but if ****ty paid a percentage then that's a different matter.

Lescott just started against us. He didnt start in the derby and when Kompany got injured Mancini prefered Kolo Toure over Lescott. I can see this Lescott deal happening.
