Godfrey is worse than Keane but I accept both are below par.
Keane has been poor for us but he has basic football skills and has scored a number of goals which improves his overall contribution.
Godfrey’s performance against Doncaster in the League cup was the classic “won a competition to play” as he was awful.

Reminds me of Adama Traore, physical attributes fantastic
Pace powerful

Footballing ability zero
Athletes with footy boots

What is this weird link with Spurs? £20million for a player who has barely played in 3 years, and when he has has tended to shin the ball to oncoming strikers.

Very odd.

**id still play him RB ahead of Young, but he’s no CB**

Yeah. This can’t be true. I suspect a lazy journo has picked it up from a parody account
Far fetched…..they need some form of emergency and versatile defensive cover whilst deliberately overpaying to help us manage the Dele situation without actually re-visiting that contract, which would be a nightmare getting all 3 parties to agree, and also shines a spotlight unnecessarily on the lad. Spurs recognising some duty of care to him etc etc

Unlikely, particularly after we blamed them entirely for our overspend re Richy 😂

You missed the aliens … lol

Spurs do not play with traditional CBs, and seems to favor FBs in that position. With that high line, rapid recovery speed seems the most important attribute.

Godfrey is exceptionally fast, perhaps Postecoglou thinks given he has the pace that the rest can be coached.

He is still young enough to get back on track to being a decent player. We play with the two CBs whose main job is making headed clearances, somthing he is useless at

Has to be right at the top of the 'to be sold asap' list. 26 years old next month and way down the pecking order for us. Bought for about 3x his actual value and probably on wages that far exceed his ability.

If any of him, Holgate or Keane are with us (they will be, probably all three) come next season (contractually, even if loaned out), it'll be a travesty.
