I think a big opportunity was missed to link him up with Mason Holgate in the centre of midfield. They would have been the Reid/Bracewell of the modern age.
Has to go for himself needs to be playing games, just cant see him getting back in this side. Will never really get the mental side of the game positioning ect but could get his fitness back his pace ect be good for soembody. We pay 25 for him would be looking between 10-15 now

Pleasantly surprised by the comments of Dyche. I'd be delighted if Dyche was able to get a tune out of him and with Branthwaite on four yellows it may be that he fills in when the seemingly inevitable suspension kicks in.

If Thelwell gets a good fee for Godfrey, after the miracles he worked getting money for the dross that is Iwobi, everyone just needs to admit hes a genius. I dont know what youtube highlights video he sent Tottenham and Newcastle, but hes done a blinder with the editing.

25 million on a "gamble" is a very good reason why this club is in the state that it is in.
I liked him when he signed for us but things have gone downhill for the guy and he really needs a fresh start now; Ben Godfrey finding another club in January and getting his career back on track would be the best thing for the player and Everton, IMHO. Good luck to him, I hope things work out for the best.
