I think Benitez has reservations about Godfrey irrespective of his degree of fitness.

Not unusual situation for a young Cb, myself do expect him to kick on. Certainly scope to establish himself over the next year.

In his pitch side interview immediately after the Norwich game, he became very fidgety when the issue was broached.

Probably more to do with the COVID illness, which he can hardly bring into the public domain, we know for some there are longer issues thus longer recovery. He is just off the pace for me.

Holgate needs coming in over this lad he just isn't a RB or fit enough at present.

Keeps getting caught out positionally at right back, but he has been better these last two games. Feels like his physicality and intensity is returning game by game.

Nearest player ive seen similar to Keown who graced us briefly.
Just attacks ball and in opposition faces. Like him lots. Reckon he will win lots, hopefully with us.
