Why do we need to buy a right back? Just play these four as our permanent defence and have Digne play left mid and drop back if one of the Fab Four get injured?

Because Holgate isn't actually good at it? He basically gets skinned once a game against good wingers even if it hasn't cost us yet and he is poor going forward.

He's what 18? It'll be at least 3 years before Carlo trusts him. Maybe if we switch managers.

Maybe. The way I read the situation he just flatly doesn't trust guys before a certain point and I don't expect this to change short of Branthwaite being world class.
