Ben Folds

Saw him last night again, what an amazing show. Any other Ben devotees on here? I think he's the best American singer/songwriter of the last generation. Should be a huge star, and I can't figure out why he's not. He played for 2.5 hours straight without and a break and then came out for a 3 song encore. He's the most enjoyable live performer, consistently, I've ever seen. High energy, fun, and musically brilliant.

Simply put, Ben is the man.

Love that guy. You are right, consistently puts out good music for well over a decade. Highly underrated. JDawg, U gonna be in a winter wonderland soon? Stay safe and warm, fellow.

Storm of the century comin' through buddy. The office let out early today and I'm not planning on going in tomorrow either. Ice all day today then a foot or two of snow on top of that tomorrow. It's gonna get ugly.

There's too many to mention but download the entire album "Rockin' the Suburbs". It's one of my favorite records of all time. REALLY great. Start there.

You guys might try "Ben Folds Live" too. That was from the Rockin' the Suburbs tour so it's a mix of that and Ben Folds Five stuff...gives you a taste of what he's like live.

He's coming to the UK at the end of February. Do yourself a favor and check him out.

He's from my hometown and my best friend opened up for him when he was in college, by all accounts a great guy. I also enjoy his music and throw it in the headphones every now and then.

Love this guy, the first Ben Folds Five record and Songs for Silverman are fantastic.

I forgot I had tickets to see him in Brum in two weeks time. Looking forward to it, will be the 6th or 7th time now.

Need to have a long hard listen to Lonely Avenue in preparation.

Anyone looking for an entry point, I'd recommend Ben Folds Live and Songs for Goldfish if you can find it (it was a special edition second disc from Songs for Silverman)
