Beer, revisited

Had this tonight, great name, perfectly drinkable but nothing special.

I've yet to drink a Robinson's ale, even when very well kept, that I thought was a cracker.

The best they do imo, is " Trooper ", even that gets a bit boring after two or three.

Robinsons is just dull beer and their pubs very rarely have a guest on too .
Bloody advertising.:)
Jenning's ales, particularly Snecklifter is one of my favourites. Haven't had it in a while. Robinson's is, oh well, just have the one.

The Handyman on Smithdown Road, which to be fair has a really good selection of beers available and a nice atmosphere.

Their pale ale is £3.40 a pint, their IPA (5.5% on tap) is £4 p/p and they usually have at least another three of each of cask, tap and lagers on respectively.

Need to give in there a go, I still thought it was a tool shop up until about two weeks ago.
