Beer, revisited

Ah nice, there was definitely a chance we would have bumped into each other

Yeah, I'd agree. Pre-haze and no cheesecake beers. Remember when Mad Hatter brought out the tzatiki beer and it was the craziest beer of all time? Gaz was great, we had a few good nights out together
I could never get my head around whether I liked it or not. They sold it in the Baltic, and I'd always be drawn to getting a bottle.

Same mate... I've dialed it back loads with the IPA's,to heavy on hops.

Beak and Baron brew are still doing some lovely stuff mind.

Single hopped subtle beers for me lately...I've actually been drinking a shed load of Tim Taylors,Landlord of late.
I really like Landlaord, however quite a few people I drink with complain about it even though we usually have very similar tastes.

The problem with Landlord, is that with it being sold so very widely, that a lot of places don`t look after it properly or don`t know how to serve it properly in the first place.

You know when you`ve got a good one, as it`s like nectar.

Tetley`s cask is very similar.

Gaz's brewing stretched across the whole spectrum so while there where drops that weren't necessarily to my taste, others I'd really like.

The biggest thing for me with Landlord is how it's kept and it's conditioning.

The Roscoe's Head is probably the best expression of it you can find,They've even got Timothy Taylor,Landlord seal of approval.

It's that's good in Roscoe's I've managed to turn a couple of mate onto cask ale due to fact Landlord in there is so good in there.

You know when it`s a good pint, as it doesn`t taste " dry ".

He was always inconsistent, even between batches, but it's kind of what you expected with his beers and part of the fun

He probably wouldn't get away with being like that now, which the price of everything, but you could see how it was possible back then
