Good one.:lol::lol: so he is our secret weapon for two games out of the forty odd. Like it when a plan comes together.(y)

You could put Huntelaar, Ibrahimovich or whoever else you want up front. If you don't give them decent service, they won't score. I repeat that Beckford isn't missing chances. He's not being given any to miss. During pre-season, when he's had players like Gueye around him, he's looked capable of contributing his fair share of goals.

F'ing hell the lid's barely played 3 games and he's stepping up from league 1. Hell of a learning curve.

Give him half a chance* why don't you.

*More than he's had from our midfield yet.

So it is all down to Moyes not picking the right team mates to play with him?

If Coleman, Gueye or whoever else lay on the chances he will finish them. As a team we're struggling to score because we're not creating anything. We haven't made Robinson, Hahnemann or Friedel work anywhere near hard enough.

We created against the Hudders, wonder why apart from them being a lower table team. Could it have something to to do with who was playing?

You seem to be arguing my point for me. Beckford scored a pen in that game and probably would have had another goal if Heitinga hadn't insisted on taking the second spot kick. He also laid on Saha's goal.

His goals against Preston and Everton Chile were finely taken. His goalscoring record throughout his career has been much better than 1 in 2. Give the lad a chance to adapt to his new teammates, a new league and a new system.
