Beckford: A prem goal every 180 mins playing time

Just worth pointing out. The lad scored at all the lower levels, and we took a chance on him. He was mainly used sporadically, with the odd full game.

It's worth pointing out that, often in a lone striker situation (which he clearly is not best suited to) he netted approximately 1 in every 2 games played, by playing time.

Very poorly handled by Moyes, I hope the lad does well for Leicester.

Moyes brought him in for nothing, turned him into a prem striker and sold him for £4m in 12 months. Handled him bloody superbly in my opinion.

£2.5 mil rising to £4 million wasn't decent though. He could have been more useful to us than that. You know, as he actually scores goals.

After 4 months of Vic leading the line you'll be missing him, lid.

I don't think we could afford to sell Beckford. I'd rather give Victor away for nothing than lose Beckford for less than £6m. He's the only striker we have that can score and isnt injured all the time.

Great point, I would love to know how many Anichebe has scored per min, makes me really think about Evertons decisions on strikers !!

He should be like, given his strength, height and what not.

Sadly he's useless in the air, useless on the ground and goes down faster than yourself in the Lisbon on a saturday night.
