Beatles.

Beatles, much more relevant and consistent catalogue of work, even though one had his head turned by some gutter trash artist that eventually split them (and I reckon she knows more about a new york day than she'll ever admit).
That said, the Stones have written some great music and although they are all well past their bury-by-date some of their best stuff is still as fresh and powerful as it was first time round.
