I think this one has been a better one as Gervais hasn't featured as much. I think he is a talented bloke but don't get his role in this.

It's not bad. Gervais and Merchant could do better though.

He's basically given a lot of David Brent style mannerisms, prejudices and attitudes to the Warwick Davis character, throw in a few cameo appearances from well known celebrities as in Extras and there you go.

I reckon Gervais as a comedy writer has proved himself a genius already (IMO).

But Life's Too Short is in no danger of being remembered as one of his best works.

I reckon the only fun parts are those with Rick Gervais and a celebrity the rest is a bit poo, the one with Liam Neeson was pure genius though.

It's not terrible, there's moments of genius/wrongness in there that had me in hysterics, but seems a little bit like it's trying slightly to hard to be a bit different. I think my favourite bit was Les Dennis' brief appearance at the end of last weeks episode '[Poor language removed] off Les'

Love his relationship with Steve Carrell, and to be fair theyve revolutionised the 'sit com' into a new type of show. I reckon he'd have to be the cleverest of all the comedians around today.

His Simpsons episode/s are chronically unfunny.
