Turning down a 2yr deal which would place him on Evertons bench, to end up on a 4 month deal (no doubt buttons in comparison) at Oldham. Great decision making there lad.

Baxter missed the point, it was up to HIM if he made it at EFC, it was down to HIM, to impressive enough in training to make Moyes take note & pick him. But no, he sat there & felt sorry for himself, fooked off rather than staying to porve himself.

With an attitude like that he's destined for failure - good riddance.
 

The lad's a tit but he's not much more than a kid and has lived a cossetted lifestyle for quite a few years now with lots of people telling him how wonderful he is. Most people here, given the same circumstances would probably have behaved tittishley too.

I hope it works out for him with the latics and he learns from his mistakes ... not holding my breath though.
 
It's his sense of entitlement that rubs people up the wrong way.

That tweet after the Tranmere game took the biscuit. He was pleased for his mate, but he had this attitude that Everton had somehow 'treated him bad' (despite offering him and Wallace new deals).

It's the same attitude that Francis Jeffers had. He learnt - eventually, and I reckon Baxter will learn in time too. Frustrating when a kid with talent throws it all away due to ego and not realising how lucky he was to play for us.
 
yea, why not sign the deal with us and simply ask to be loaned out? use the club's resources to help negotiate a deal with another club, better for all involved
 

Love how people jump all over a friggin 'tweet' as if it represents the way he feels about the club (which he supports, btw).

People make stupid comments in the heat of the moment, judging somebody on one little throw away comment is ridiculous.

Hope the lad sorts himself out, he's clearly got a decent amount of talent, although i can't see him cutting it at the highest level.

It's not just one tweet. He's an idiot. He was tweeting pictures of his genitals last season, late at night. Silly, immature kid.

Why does he think he was treated bad by Everton? Lets be honest, he's an absolute idiot to turn down a 2 year contract with us.

If he's as talented as some people think he is, you would have thought another club would have snapped him up on a long term deal.

He's ten-a-penny and there's clearly other factors (attitude?) stopping his career from progressing.
