Well let us compare him to dcl this season because he was known for his hold up play at everton.


Barry has a 60% pass accuracy with 60% being in the oppositions half (dcl has 60% PA, with 60% in the opposition half). Wins 45% of his aerial duels (compared to DCL whos only got 38%).

17 touches per game and looses it 7 times a match (dcl has 22 touches and looses possession 9 times per match this season).

So if we think dcl is good at holfing the ball up and barrys has been fairly comparable this season with those match statistics.

So that would mean barry has been good at holding up the ball and linking up play, wouldnt it
