Barry Vs Beto

Who would you rather start?

I thought it was a bit of an odd decision to take Barry off at half time again today, but overall I thought Beto offered more in the 2nd half. Though I think this could be in part because of Alcaraz. I think they have a good partnership.

At the moment I think it’s a flip of coin. Neither one has all the qualities you want. But Beto proved last season that he can score at this level, so I would just about give it to him

Neither are good enough to be starting but Beto has shown far more in the time they've both been at the club.

Beto should be the starter until Barry can prove that he is ready to be the main striker.

We need better than both really and it's disappointing that we didn't bring someone in that was ready to lead the line. Barry has a lot of work to do to become a success in this league.

It worked today and that’s the main thing but in the long run hauling Barry off at half time every time we don’t turn up as a team isn’t the way to play it, same with dibling.

this thread is going to flip so much

there was a consensus that barry had the higher ceiling so give him the minutes

i just don’t think i’ve seen anything from him bar a couple of touches against brighton in lead up to goals

i think we need to show some faith in beto and play to his strengths. he will be the weak link in the side (along with the increasingly redundant mykolenko) but he will be a handful and he will score goals

if we’re in a hunt for europe and Jesus is available on loan then go for him in jan
