Barry was hung out to dry by moyes tonight imo.

Was thrown up front with a 3 behing him who dont have a combined 90 minutes between them. Also mcneil is slow and alcaraz isnt exactly rapped. Add to that neither winger had a fullback going past him and obviously there'll be a massive lack of chances made for the lad.

Then beto comes on and ends up with our main 3 behind him of course he'd look better on the night. But imo everytime barry has played with grealish, kdh and ndiaye behind him he's looked miles better then beto has.

Quite funny if we end up get stuck in an endless circle of one of them being dropped, only for the other one to get hooked at half time in the following match.
And yet, thats probably exactly how it'll go until the summer. One gets the starting nod over the other, gets a couple of games, does very little, then the other one is in and the same thing applies. How a team that has struggled to score goals for years goes into the season with only 2 strikers in the squad is bonkers.

If ever there was a game to leave both on the bench and see how we played with a combination of Grealish, Ndaye and Dibling up front, this was it.

Instead, we learned that our gash players are truly gash and gave Dibling a horror show to shine in.

Sticking my head into the vice here, this seems to be like trying to decide who was a better heavyweight; Chuck Wepner or Jerry Quarry, in the era of Ali and Frazier.
Both nailed on to get hat tricks v Palace on Sunday week now.☹️

Good point.

Barry should be given another chance on Monday with the 1st team players behind him.
