Fantastic, I'm sat in the office with a pile of work as long as Yak's Schlong and thought although I'd love to I haven't got 6mins to watch this...

However, I did, and my god am I glad I did, it reminded me of exactly why I love Everton Football Club... a great chant comes to mind...

Cannot wait now... QPR are gonna get it tomorrow, If the 11 players Moyes picks tomorrow are half as fired-up as the true supporters it's gonna be a mauling!

These can ALL be sold, for some money, yes we'd need a handful of replacements but theres a potential 40 odd million there of which 25mil could clear the overdraft and 15mil could be used on replacements.

Yes we will probably finish mid table BUT it should be enough to rebuild our squad without paying the bank overdraft interest which can be a killer.

yeah thats right, sell our best performing CB of last season, our best goalscoring midfielder, our best striker, our classiest midfielder (albeit last season was not good) and a RB who is maybe not the best but gives passion and 100% every time he plays (and never moans when he doesn't).

why hasn't anybody thought of this before?

The sad thing is that selling Pienaar just paid off interest in all likelihood, not reducing our physical debt.

If reports are true then there's a five million deficit every year opening up, due to the debt.

In our own understated way we've chased the dream in the past five years, and lost.
 

Artetas 5m pa new contract seems rather heavy for us now. Moyes has said he prefers to reward the players he has though. Spurs have a 60k cap so I've heard and look at some of the players they have. If we hadn't overstretched on wages we'd have a budget but would have probably lost some senior players due to the cap. It's a hard choice.
 
It was great to watch that video again! I wonder if the players would get as pumped as we do by watching that. COME ON!!
