We’re not creating enough chances for it to be purely down to luck. Sure there’s been a few awful decisions, but if we created more than 2 clear cut chances per game it wouldn’t have to come down to that. Just not good enough from the players or management.

Honestly I think we all know you need luck in life. I do believe Everton are and always have been one unlucky club.
1968 WBA how did that team lose that final
1971 Panathonikas and the FA Cup Semi defeats in the same week. Then Ball sold and Catt loses his health and we dont act quick enough
1986 Heysel decision to ban and what came afterwards
Dr David Marsh. Peter Johnson Bill Kenwright three crap custodians. We as Evertonians have not deserved these three.
Moshri. This was us coming back! Sadly its all a bit scatter gun and no real plan. Feels like Walker all over again.
Agree we have been unlucky over the years. Had some good fortune as well. The 97/98 season comes to mind. Stayed up on the last day with other Results going our way. Got a really fortunate goal line decision at Bolton early in the season. That resulted in us staying up and them going down.
