Some actors can't play a range of roles which makes them limited actors not bad ones.

I regard the above to be really good at what they do provided they haven't been miscast (Nicolas Cage being the prime example).

and Red Dwarf was for telly. Both managed it without any of us noticing the ethnicity of the characters, because they weren't defined by their race (nor by themselves, nor by others).


Nowadays the exotic race of a main character is mentioned over and over again...as if that somehow helps.

That Batman trilogy without Hardy and Ledger would be completely forgettable.
