He's put together a crew of people who didn't need compo paying for them and probably came in as a favour from Moyes for a bit of a pension boost.

No one is being head hunted for those positions.

If he'd insisted on Weir joining him, for instance - an employee of another PL club - Ild have winced at that and thought: this looks a medium term appointment at least.

But this is a cobbled together team of former sidekicks and I'm taking heart from that that it points in the direction of a short term move.

If we talk tactics though, I would like us to go in for Steven Schumacher, who has been playing a reasonably attacking brand of football. We can also entice Rooney in two months... Watch this space

You could probably interpret it a few ways.

If he keeps us up then you could see him move for coaches within the PL.

The 3 he's bringing in you've rightly suggested will be quick, easy and zero compensation to pay.
