Back four when/if all are fit?

a few years back we never had these problems..... bring back carsley
It's not about Carsley. When we attack, we hunt in packs leaving only the 2 CB as cover. Once we lose the ball, our opponent only need to get past our DM and run at our expose CB. We often see Pienaar and Baines chasing back in vain. If we're playing against pacy and direct teams, their counter often end up with a shot on goal. We can rectify by using 2 DM to act as an unconventional back 4 when we attack.

I think I'd cry if we brought back Lee Carsley, seriously.

We kept more clean sheets with Phil Neville and Mikel Arteta in midfield last season, Arteta is a better defender than he's given credit for and alongside a creative midfielder Neville more than does a job.

If Cahill's drought continues and we keep conceding goals we can always push Fellaini forward and play Neville and Arteta in there. It's not ideal considering Fellaini's form but he looks more likely to score than Cahill does at the moment.

It'd also give us a chance to bring Coleman into the side and see what he can give us.

We know already what Coleman brings us. It is top notch. Speed, determination and crossing ability to EFC shirts. Need I say more.

Neville's job to lose I know but without question this kid gives us the width and excitement. We need to keep him happy.
