Did anyone post the video of Axel's leg-breaking tackle from a few years ago....recall it was his Liege days? Training with him and Besic will be interesting if it happens.

Barry?! For goodness sake every single other player of his generation has retired and yet we still cling to him as a guaranteed starter in the quickest league in the world. Barry up against the likes of Kante, Matic, potentially Pogba, Gundogan. It's embarassing. Let it go. If nothing else I hope Koeman obliterates the Barry McCarthy myth that Martinez peddled and too many people lapped up.

McCarthy is the problem. Barry is one of the physically fittest players in our squad. Should Ibrahimovic also retire? He's only about a year younger than Gar Bar. Barry is superb, was one of our best players last season, yet should be binned? Makes no sense. So long as he is fully fit, he should be a starter, in my opinion.

I remember people saying exactly what you've just said there, about Distin as well. Players can't carry on forever
