Transfer Rumour Axel Witsel

Watched Witsel for several years....he's good, but he's not marque in my opinion. For the Id go with Sissoko purely on the basis he knows the EPL and has much greater strength/energy than Witsel.
Did anyone post the video of Axel's leg-breaking tackle from a few years ago....recall it was his Liege days? Training with him and Besic will be interesting if it happens.

Must admit the idea of a Witsel and (fully fit) Besic in CM sounds solid. I hope that's what Koeman is thinking. With the rumours that we are willing to listen to offers for McCarthy, you'd have to think it's a possibility.

That Thierry bloke somebody quoted earlier seems to be the Belgian version of the Moose from the Belgian version of TalkSport...

Be good that. I'd go Witsel and Barry though, and bed Besic in slowly throughout the season. Barry still has a lot to offer imo.

.....aren't they different types, though? Witsel is the type who's work goes under the radar, similar to Barry but with more mobility whereas Sissoko is much more driving forward with pace.
