Ooh that's a tough one. I loved "the life and times of the thunderbolt kid." I like them all really though, "Shakespeare - the World's a stage" was wonderful as was "Mother tongue."

The only one I haven't read is Shakespeare - the World's a stage. I've got it, but it's in a queue. I love The Thunderbolt Kid, but I'd have to say my favourite is A Short History Of Nearly Everything. I could read it over and over.

Agree with you there, it should be required reading in schools.

It's like a soap opera. I love it. But to be fair, I used to hate Rudd with a passion, but now i think he is the only one that can run the country...this coming from a lib.

Have you read 'Down Under' by Bill Bryson? It made me want to emigrate immediately.

Sharks, snakes and spiders that can kill you, barren desert for thousands of miles and the craziest government the world over. What's not to love?

It's superb but then again so is everything he writes.

Frank, I knew I liked you. Do you have a favourite?

I can go on all night about the said subject if plied correctly, and usually do.

It was these guys at 12.30 on a weekday after I'd been the chippy that did it for me.

At least they make Politics interesting.

Every Pollie should work like they could get stabbed by one of their constituents at any time if they [Poor language removed] up.
