i was thinking what everyone else thought of the atmosphere at goodison this season?

personally i believe it lacked what it has been in previous years. i sat in several stands this season and even though every one says gwladys street lower is the loudest i believe that it was the park end this season.

what do you think?

I believe that people having no money and being down about Everton in the early part of the season played a part, towards the end when we were boss it picked up.

Did somebody say singing section??

ISNT MODERN FOOTBALL BOSS?

I went the stoke game in december and the atomsphere was terrible. Then went the newcastle game for the last game and it was bouncing. Its always seems better second half of the season

The Newcastle game was a brilliant atmosphere, which shows what happens when we have something to play for and show some decent football.

Still think Spurs was the best. That second half when Howard saved about 36 shots and there was a real siege mentality, the final whistle was fantastic.

was dead quiet for most games, prob best were spurs, chelsea, citeh and the newcastle game,it was like a morgue first half of the season!!

At the end if the QPR game some old bloke behind me spat his dummy out and threw his programme on the pitch. Pretty much summed up the1st half of the season for me that. If you got nothin to shout about then you aint gonna shout!

When we are good for a sustained period of time the fans show their appreciation better than anyone imo. It's a very clear two way street which I think is the best way to be. We are boss when competing well as underdogs too. Neville's tackle v United springs to mind.

The second half of the season was decent, like people have said Newcastle was brilliant, just shows that goodison bounces when we have something to play for and when we are playing good stuff and showing passion. Lower gwladys is by far the best.
