atmosphere at Goodison is awful.

It seems some peole have a problem admitting that, and turn to a defence mechanism in which they reassure themselves that singing is for beauts and only takes place at LIPA.

Singing for the sake of its is for beauts. Palace fans always declare themselves the best fans in the werld but their support reeks of small time. They sing songs about palace fans singing songs.

I also dont mind the place being quiet and then 'sing when we're winning' drowning out the away fans who've been slobbing their own nobs the whole game.

Sing when there's something to sing about. The problem is we dont even do that any more and then at 80 minutes half the ground gets off. The team deserves better support than they get.

Im not even bothered about the "atmosphere" at home anymore.

I am sat their open mouthed at how good a football team we are, first time I looked at the club weekend, was on 39 mins....could not beleive it had gone that quick.

Im really not bothered what the away fans sing, or think of our crowd, people who know the score realise how good our following is.

Anyone else noticed this? The kick off used to be greeted with a roar of encouragement and excitement.Even when we get a corner there is no anticipation or the traditional EVERTON.....EVERTON chant . listening on radio yesterday you would think there was nobody there.is it that there is just too many decent sorts there and a lack of the bulk support of the scouse male like in the old days or is it just apathy due to lack of success?

Here's an idea, buy a ticket and go the match and make some noise yourself, as opposed to lambasting the people who pay to go and put much needed money in the clubs coffers

A gang of lads towards the back of the Main Stand on Saturday sang regularly and it certainly improved the atmosphere.

Sixty Grand is one song we should all sing along with !!!
