Six points off the relegation zone.One win in their last ten games with seven defeats.I think i might put some money down on Villa going down to League One.

not really suprised they are potentially going down again. They should never have employed Bruce and tried to buy their way back up to the premier league, rather them have used it as an opportunity to build the club up again and give themselves a platform to grow on. They will go the same as the likes of Fulham who just fall to pieces and not come up again for a long time because they massively misjudged the championship and the ease of getting promoted. Even Benitez has found out how hard it is there to get promoted but at least he had the sense to sign players who will give them a boost in the league and have some sort of basis for the future rather than just throw money at any old player.
 
They have form when it comes to dropping down to the third level:

To be honest I'd rather them not get relegated and come back up within the next few years. We are going to be picking up the record for most losses in the premiership if they stay down.
