Anyone questioning our pursuit of wingers need only look at garner being played out wide

There is a winger on the bench, a good one at that - but apparently after a minor injury which kept him out of 1 pre-season friendly, he's deemed "not fit enough" to start 2 weeks in a row

1 isn’t even even ready for PL footy
1 isn’t going to be fit until the end of September
1 came from spurs but apparently isn’t ready for this formidable team

The only one fit for purpose currently is a 38 year old left back

Or maybe catching up on his fitness

He’s a 19 year old footballer. It’s been a while since I was that young but at 19 fitness should be the last thing he needs to work on if he’s been looking after himself at all. Suspect it’s either
A. He’s not very good or
B. Dyche didn’t want him in the first place

Hope I’m not reading too much but if you’re not good enough to make this bench, it’s not a good sign.
