Aston Villa & Demba Ba

Not only have Villa not signed Ba, they didn't even try to!!!

It speaks volumes for the excellent financial handling of Everton by the board that we were at least able to speak to him, even if we couldn't afford agent fees.

I'm confident this is just the start of various episodes over the summer where we meet and speak with players.

So, despite your very convoluted links, I understand where you're coming from. So you think we should simply stick to DVD purchaes of players then? Any sort of complication and we should leave the deal entirely?

Ha ha boss to be fair.

But in all fairness, i worry about the crediability of a few when their being sarcastivc about wanting to pay Demba Ba 75k a week.

What did I miss here?

Are we measuring Everton against Villa? Holy ****.

Let's be clear:

A. Villa is not a measuring stick for what Everton does or doesn't do.

B. Ba humbug. This smelled bad from the get go - Everton over anxious for strikers and chasing a mediocre one at best. Glad it's passed.

C. Villa will always have more transfer loot especially when they sell Young this window and Albrighton in 1-2 years.

if he was the second coming of christ i'd say yes, but he's not even junior disciple with his dodgy knee.

But I suppose if it helps to criticise Kenwright, just ignore the facts.

Some people on here are really really bad at detecting sarcasm.

Actually I read his first post as Aston Villa have signed Demba Ba and didn't even try to, and was like, WTF?

Apologies, Chang.

I love how Damon's agreeing with him though, without a hint of sarcasm on his part.
