We have this element in our support bizarrely we are 1 of the few sets of supporters who seem more interested in fighting each other than opposition fans. While I'm not excusing fighting with opposition fans, it never ceases to amaze me that our fans can't get along with each other. I've talked about this on many occasions there tends to be these miserable middle aged thugs bouncer types, who are just looking for a fight particularly at away games. What makes their behaviour even worse is often they have kids with them. These fans need to be banned for life from attending our games.

I've never seen a punch thrown at a wedding, funeral or christening that I've been to.

Threads like this have every right to exist, to point out such disgraceful behaviour, people shouldn't be allowed to get away with stuff like that, and making it obvious, even in online threads, enforces the fact to those kinda people that it's not right and the majority of fans agree with that.

Never seen a scrap at a wedding? Are you not from Liverpool?

Being serious though, the point I was making, since explained by another poster, is that amongst 40,000 people anywhere there's always going to be a large number of bad eggs, and my original post was just wondering why so much outrage was being expressed, as if it comes as a massive surprise that something like this should happen. That's not to fail to appreciate how very upsetting such a thing is for those involved.

Everton put a new HD CCTV system in the ground so a formal complaint should be made to the police to examine any footage.

Nope, I'm from Gtr Manchester.

I see what you mean, I just don't like seeing things being passed off because it's kinda 'expected' because then the people doing it think that's a good excuse. But I see what you mean.

That's a really good point that mate. People picture trouble causes as being 18-20 yr old drunks but the only times I've seen trouble home or away is caused by exactly the kind of person you describe.

Good job some of these morons didn't see some of the garbage home performances during the early 70s...theyd soon cut the odd bad game now some slack. I think theyre just scum rather than disappointed blues. Hope the thug that did this gets karma back at him goodstyle and that the lad with the broken nose heals quickly.
