The ref should never have been sent to the monitor. They showed it him from the worst angle over and over again till he gave in. Shocking officiating and a disgraceful way to treat our most decorated player.

Have to think this will be the last time we see him now. He did well enough under a negative manager in dyche - doesn’t have near enough now for a club who wants to progress.
FairPlay to him, stellar career and obviously a top professional but time to be cut throat in the summer. Him and Seamus both have to go.

The hands pulling on his shirt stopped what would have been a potentially unobstructed shot from Young at goal. It was deliberate. It worked as planned. They got away with it.

It won’t be though.
He hasn’t done well. People think he did well because the bar for his performances was so low that he was expected to cost us a goal every time he set foot on the pitch. So by just not doing that it looked like he played well.
We conceded the game as soon as he came in. Playing with him is playing with 10 men, he has nothing at all to contribute. A 40 year old footballer should be nowhere near a Premier League pitch.

We didnt get the pen for the simple reason VAR didnt give the ref the correct angle it showed it was a pen. Replaying the same "wrong incident" back over and over didnt help. All this stuff it wasnt a "hard enough pull" means nothing when certain teams get pens for falling over themsleves

He’s fitter than I ever was at that age. But he’s just done at this point. The opposition drool when he comes on. He looked great and did great under Dyche because the ground to cover was less and the strategy was to hold the line. In an up-tempo style, his age is exposed and he looks every bit of his age.
