As if we didn’t know the BBC pundits were a joke, now this !

The media just ask the pundits to come up with lists like this for clickbait or to just fill content with mindless pointless opinions. It justifies their jobs.

It becomes a problem only when people take them seriously just BECAUSE they're in the media. Me? I will respect the media when it earns my respect. None have done that as yet. None.

Edit - in fact GOT is the only source of Everton info that I hold in any regard. Its a great distillation pot and its easy to judge the veracity of who's spouting what froth. Make of that what you will.

I watched ‘Greavsie’ last night off ITV channels. Good documentary that.
His early punditry was much better than I thought. Spoke the truth rather than the vanilla tripe the likes of Danny Murphy and Jenas come out with now.

Nobody wants to publish truth anymore. They only want to share sanitised pr speak that stops them being sued or offending a wet lettuce with a keyboard somewhere.

Shearer? Yeah, Baines has no right to get a mention, a pitiful total of 348 matches for the Blues and 29 goals, plus his 30 England caps and a goal. Assists must be quite impressive as well. Poor old Al is probably trying to get rid of the images seared in his thick skull of Baines taking the piss up at the Leazes end at St James's.

Baines, 420 premier league appearances, 32 goals, 60 assists. Not good enough though. lol
