He's a better player on the left. He has alot more room with Lescott/Baines and/or Pinnear over there. On the right he gets the [Poor language removed] kick out of him by the 3-5 players who are ignoring Neville. Sometimes though, when Pinnear is back I still think we need him on the right side to balance up the attack.

Hes good in the center when Cahill is there to take pressure off him.

Not sure, mate. Right now Pienaar should our Ace up in the sleeve, meaning he is our best option to provide quality cover. That trio (Arteta, Cahill and Osman) is winning me over. To me they are pivotal to our growth as a team.

Maybe he just had an off game. I know, I know, heaven forbid any of our players should be anything but world player of the year every match, but it happens.

I actually agree. That line was used as an excuse loads last year for his sub-par displays (and rightfully so), i'm assuming he is fully fit now and has had no re-ocurrance of it.
Even the best players have bad days, i'm sure away at Hull is a difficult for any player to run the game like we would like Arteta to do.

Pienaar has to be in the team for me, his creativity is key and he seems to link with Yakubu and make him tick. 15 assists last season proves his worth to the team.

I think Arteta, Osman and Pienaar are all needed, we are far more unpredictable and have many different ways we can hurt teams. Osman through the middle, Arteta on the right and Pienaar on the left.

I think Fellaini and Castillo should be battling for the same position whereas Cahill, Yakubu and Saha should be battling for the forward positions.

Obviously it's all about styles though, different combinations will suit different games. Somtimes a creative midfielder will have to be sacrificed for a more defensive minded midfielder.

Also, don't forget Van der Meyde.
