Arteta is finally going to win a title isn't he?

He would have left us at the first opportunity for arsenal...he is a good manager indeed, probably the closest to pep today in the pl.
Like Ancelotti did, difference being that Ancelotti spent on “proven” players, lumbered us with overpaid hasbeens and if you take out the start of his only full season (first 6 games) his time here was pathetic when compared to his reputation.

Arsenal have a habit of being better before Christmas than after it, so let's see how the league looks come March and April.
I think it is their year...they have an unbelievable squad. Last year injuries in attacking areas killed their season. Now they have so many options. In fact the season could be over well before the end the way theyre going.

He’s spent time building a good squad there and moved them away from the banter era under Wenger of getting mauled at every top team. He’ll deserve it if he does win it. People will say he’s spent money but there’s zero difference between what Liverpool City Chelsea did and what Arsenal are now doing.

Actually done very well and until this summer on a comparatively small budget to other top teams? Brought a lot of young players through as well

Biggest thing is the somewhat immeasurable connection between team and the fans, something podcasters and commentariat fail to mention. Klopp did it at Mordor, Frank, Howe, Conte all good at it, very underrated facet of being a good modern manager is forging that link

Emirates used to be a library only full of EFL chants, now is a proper atmosphere. Does a lot, that

Personally want them to do it. Hate City as a plastic club and obvs the RS. Mums side of the family are all gooners and were the sexiest team for me growing up (Henry etc all). Were it not for my old man taking me to Goodison as a 6 year old id probably be one of them

Forget about it.

I've said before: it's their designated period for dominance.

You can have a Klopp team playing Klopp football managed by Slot or a Slot team playing Slot football managed by Slot - the outcome will be the same. A Liverpool title.

Dont be looking to Arsenal or anyone else to stop it happening. It's sorted out already.

🙃

Not even a 3rd of the way through the season. Loads of time for someone to kick into gear or the Arse to become very mediocre.
In 12 games they've gotten a 6 or 7 point lead over the nearest rivals.
With the remaining 26 games they could turn that into a 22 point swing either way. Romp the league with about a 30 point gap or finish in 6th by dropping a relative 16 points to the winners. Way too early to call anything.

Enviously looking at their bench yesterday.

Considering the injuries they've got, They look to have enough strength in depth to see them through.

Still a long way to go and the psychological factor is so important. The first title is often the most difficult.

If they can get over the line this time round they could win a few pots over the next few years
