Mikel Arteta's free kick against Hull is up for Match of the Day's Goal of the Month award.

But then again, so is Gerrard's league goal against us;

and so is Van Persie's volley that denied us a win over Arsenal.


Be bias if you want to, but which of these goals do you think was actually the best?

I in actually do think it was Arteta's because it was such a sweet dead ball strike.

(I cannot remember whose were the other goals up for GotM)
 

Koncheskys was great, but Artetas was a phenomenal strike...Hard to choose....but definatly one of of them 2.
 
Who does John Motson support? He seemed to get unusually excited a couple of times during the Newcastle/West Brom match. If his excitement was an indication of bias though he was professional enough not to let it become explicit in his commentary.
 

That is a falicy . Hes publically denied it many times since . Apparently he said it on a Commentary . HE NEVER !!!

Im 99.9% sure he supports Charlton Athletic - Remember him doing some dewy eyed piece on football focus when they moved back to the valley.
