I think they spend alot less on wages than Spurs do. Most of his players are young and prob don't cost that much.

Great scouting system, reputation for developing youth players coupled with the "you play if you are good enough" mentality, Premier League and Champions League football. Great starting point as a young player even if you don't make it as an Arsenal first teamer.

i'm not saying the way you look at it is wrong, i saw a river plate game in argentina where the fans were singing death threats to their own team because the game was tied at halftime. so it really is an issue of personal opinion, i just feel that its better for the team to walk off the pitch confronted by the thousands of sullen faces, the faces of supporters who were let down but will still never ever stop believing, then to simply walk off the pitch and seeing thousands of empty seats because the fans wanted to **** off home to make sure they caught their serials rather than watching the team.

i'm proud whenever i see everton play no matter how well they do, i'm generally limited to only 90 minutes of viewing pleasure per week for the blues, so i take in every minute, and i just couldn't imagine leaving the game early.

dunno which would affect you more as a player? seeing the fans leave en masse and empty stands at the end? or thousands of p*ssed off faces glaring down at you till the very end?

tbh if id been there i probably would have left, or at least been very torn over whether to or not... we go to the game to support the team, but also to be entertained and if they're not holding up their end of the bargain then should we feel obligated to hold our own? if you're not enjoying being there, then why stay??
