SA chooses his games and works out a points strategy that gets clubs to survival. That's what he does. Trouble is Everton traditionally is a club that should try to compete no matter who we play. We are not historically a club like Palace or Stoke but right now we pretty much are. For the next 4 months at least we are just another club outside the top 6. He has written this game off hence the team sheet. Our former manager and DOF got us into this mess. Us fans have to swallow it and it's not really his fault. He has just come back from a long injury. Probably don't want to risk him with letting him play too much so soon, and I think it's probably the correct decision.
