I think it was offside on the brief replay I saw so who knows if it would have stood.

Yeah there are questions about his attitude earlier in the thread but frankly I don’t see any evidence of it in games, interactions with his teammates. He seems supportive and gets along with people. I don’t see a lack of effort, perhaps a lack of focus on the defending aspects of the game.

I think we were so starved for talent and it was such a long process to get him here, that expectations were not realistic.

His club wants to sell him and he didn’t get a game at Spurs. That’s the player we got.

He's stupidly selfish in moments but I get it, that's a lack of playing time. But tonight he was constantly making some cracking runs off the last man's shoulder.

That’s just the type of player he is. He wants the ball at his feet and to get shots off.
