He had agreed to come to us on Thursday, as @Tofeenut posted. On Tuesday it still wasn’t completed. Spurs agreed terms with him on Tuesday and on Wednesday it was completed.

Well the medical was gonna be booked, but wasn't booked till Saturday, so he couldn't do it any earlier. If he didn't U-turn it would have been announced before Tuesday. We also fired a manager at the same time, adds a little bit to it as you know.
