Well its simple really...

Medical done...then for some reason wait 3 days while doing media stuff before having player sign.

Absolute stupidity.

I mean its incredibly naive to think all parties were sat off for days not in contact.

More than likely loose ends in negotiations were being done during that time and the player/his agent who know they're in high demand and hold all the cards have gotten wind of interest from better teams.

Not everything has to be a Conspiracy or the club conspiring to relegate itself.

We've been done by a player - not the first time and wont be the last.

In fairness to you and to Everton if the lad has indeed gone bandit this morning you would certainly point the finger towards him . The conduct of Everton in allowing this to play out whilst they sacked a manager, conducted a civil war and failed to ensure the necessary paperwork was completed in a Prompt manner doesn’t seem to be perfect either mind but he seems to be the primary architect.
