Maupay is okay in the right system, absolutely. And I do think Lampard might have thought he'd have been able to have Everton playing in a system that suits Maupay a bit more by this time.

But for one reason or another - some of it on him, some of it just down to us having very poor players - we haven't got it.

He was brought in as Dominic Calvert-Lewin's back-up but is nothing like Dominic Calvert-Lewin. It was a stupid signing.
