You cant base our progress on bookies odds tho surely. That lot were 11/10 at home to Arsenal last week when every man and his dog knew they would murder them. So much so I lumped on it. I wouldn't back Tottenham at even money at Everton even if I wasn't a blue so I'm not reading to much into that.

Yeah this is true but we are also going to defend better and should concede less. We lost one player and bought 9 in many of of those look very good players and better then what we had

It's tough to say how I feel about the window. I think in the long term I understand Koeman's approach, and if 1) we stick with it, 2) Koeman sticks with us, 3) investment doesn't dry up, we will fight for CL beginning next year. However in the short term I'm not sure whether we're better than last year. I don't think we're worse, but it improvement remains to be seen. We're a fickle bunch of supporters, so I wonder how long of a leash Koeman (and Walsh?) have.
