Are we going to be left behind...? Again!

Every year we will drop further and further behind, because teams around us have huge benefactors.

Lets be honest with ourselves, top 3 is nigh on impossible to achieve. What we are relying upon is Arsenals glass jaw of a defence having it usual 3 months of poor performances, and Spurs bottling it because...well...thats what they do.

The season will be about who from the 4 of us, and I include the kopites through gritted teeth, for 4th and 5th.

Whatever/whoever the other 3 buy, I cant seem it having a huge bearing as none of them (even though Arsenal keep telling us they are ready to spend) have the pulling power anymore to attract the top top talent.

If we can buy wisely we could sneak it into the top 4 this year....

6/7th it is lads

Wait 'till we sign that no mark James McCarthy. I'll be all over this thread.

I was watching on SSN an hour ago Chelsea are coming up V one of thier keepers on loan to Madrid, they have Lukaku with us that is a garanteed world beater at 20. 20 other decent players on loan. The future looks good for Chelsea, that being if the present isnt good enough. I guess what I am getting at and what this thread is turning into is a pledge that we need a Billionaire and not a Bill. Unless we abolish the private ownership of the means of production it's the only way we can compete for the league year in and out. And I think the only way we will get investment if Billionaires see poor but beautiful Everton romantically punching above our wieght in the biggest competition in club football. So to me that makes what Robert is doing that much more vital to our future and how he can plant the seed of being the best in the world to grow out of Moyes' soil. A bit too philosophical at the end?

Despite alt of worried posts in this thread, I stick with my original assertion made nearly a year ago : I think Martinez will be a great manager
