Even in the dark days of 90's i always thought they fought for the badge&honour even if their footballing ability was questioned...what about now...have we sleepwalked in to a squad of mercanries that Ronnie cant unite??!(Think i spelt mercanries wrong but hey ho)

Mercenaries. I think we have too many not-quite-right footballers that need replacing and Big Ron knows it.

We are a side or a unit or an organisation, because there is no i in team. :p

To be fair all the new lads brought in seem to be team players. You would expect that from Walsh signings I suppose, hell even Mirallas and Lukaku have been on page and not spouting off to press about moves, so things are improving. Let's hope it keeps going that way.

We need to play well for a whole game and give another side a good beating, nothing like winning 4/5 nil to bring a team together.

Sometimes it's hard to get out of your four poster bed in you mansion and feed your corgis and play football. It really is.

This all day.

Pampered to the nth degree.
A major issue with some, not all, players.
It's not the players fault it's the system.
Heads swilled by Bentleys, Lamborghini, Porsches, having the 'right look' (but still looking a nob!) etc...etc....
It comes to something where there's a guy at City's training facility that starts up their cars to warm them up so they don't get into a cold car ffs!

we defo have an element of individulism in our squad.

this is where steve walsh willl earn his coin, delivering us players with a great team ethic. not just your witzels and sisoko's who would be turning up for the money more than anything else.

bring us 3 or 4 more gana's please
steve walsh was the one who wanted sissoko though mate..

But you get this lack of team ethic at any level of football - the level of pampering and riches isn't there but the entitled, selfish attitude and shocking haircut still is, even way down in non league. It's a bit like the pub singer with an arena show attitude or that nob at work who does nothing and then slags everyone else off.

The thought that the squad was full of valiant, honest to goodness, grounded lads during the 90's is laughable. Some were alright but there was plenty who took the money and did nothing. And quite a few who worked hard and honestly but knew they had to as they were below average players. Players in the 90's were still earning insane money for playing football. Goodison in the 90's was still very flat, unhappy or downright toxic at times when it was obvious some players weren't working hard enough.
