Are the away fans correctly situated?

This is based on the coin toss. Home team doesn’t get to choose. Dyche made a big point of this when we played away if we won the toss.

I'm genuinely amazed more away teams don't insist on swop of ends if they win the toss. It is a small thing but footballers are creatures of habit so not attacking the favoured end in second halves will certainly impact on things.

Without checking I bet a few teams have got results at the swamp in last five years when they've made RS attack the Kop first half instead of second. Annoys me that isn't a tactic anymore when going there as it might just reduce the near certainty of a loss.

We can't - the only thing you could do to make them less visible on telly would be to shift them to the north west corner where the family stand is now. Realistically that isn't happening and the PL, quite rightly, will have made sure that if we were building a brand new ground that it adhered to their current regs
The club will have only gone along with PL guidelines. Sunderland deliberately moved fans into upper tier at opposite end to improve home atmosphere. Newcastle hide behind segregation/safety requirements of police/local authority.

At Newcastle, the away fans are way up "in the Gods" and can hardly be heard.

The West Ham match felt like a home game for the Hammers! And that really seemed to give their players impetus.

I can't help but wonder if the away section at Bramley-Moore is poorly situated. They can really influence the game from where they are.
They only sing when we're not playing well, fix that and the problem goes away...lots of problems go away tbh

Weren't the aways in the lower Bullens effectively closest to that corner? Making something out of nothing this thread.

Nobody going to the match is going to want to hear it from me but I do think it's been a bit poor in general, judging from TV/streams. I don't think the atmosphere has been fully realized and it's not the stadiums fault, you can tell.
